Teaching is my passion and I am so
excited to get to work with you and your child this year! It’s going to be a
fun year full of learning and adventures.
I
am from Taylorsville Utah. I graduated from Taylorsville High School (go
Warriors!) and attended Utah State University (go Aggies!) in Logan for my
undergraduate degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am
currently working on my Master’s Degree in education through Utah State as
well.
I am the middle child in a family of
five. I have two wonderful parents, {Rich and Pam} an older
brother {David} and his wife, {Katie} with an adorable 18 month old nephew {Jordan} and a 19 year old an 18
year old little sister, {Nicole}. I also have two puppies, Koda and Tucker. I love my family!
Some of you may recognize me from Kindergarten a few years ago. My first year of teaching was here at Diamond Ridge in 2012 with some of the same students again this year!
I believe the most important part of education is inspiring students to be better. Better problem solvers, critical thinkers, readers, writers, and above all people. I believe in teaching with
love and respect. We will work hard, but I also believe learning should be fun.
I believe you and I must work together to help your child, therefore,
communication is key. Please contact me at any time with comments, questions,
