Rocket Launch

We had our annual Diamond Ridge rocket launch today and it was a huge success! Each class decorates a rocket and talks about our class goals to launch the new year. Our class recited our Class Creed which we have each memorized;

I am an important person with special qualities to share.

I alone have the power to determine my thoughts, my actions, and my destiny.

TOGETHER WE ARE COURAGEOUS KIDS

Working together to make the world a better place.

I will act in such a way that I will be proud of myself and others will be proud of me too. 

I came to school to learn, and I will learn. I will have a great day. YES!

First week!

We had an exciting week with lots of activities! On Wednesday we built marshmallow and toothpick structures with Miss Leigh's class.

On Friday we Saved Fred from drowning!
